Kerala is one state, which is giving some hope to the Congress. The ruling Congress-led UDF, which swept the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, is expected to win big in the state once again. The state has 20 Lok Sabha seats with the UDF expected to win 12-18 seats and the LDF bagging 2-8 as per the projections provided by Chennai Mathematical Institute's Director Professor Rajeeva Karandikar.
According to Lokniti-IBN National Tracker poll, the UDF is expected to garner 50 per cent of the votes in the state. The Communist Party of India-Marxist-led Left Democratic Front is expected to get 31 per cent vote share while the BJP is likely to get 9 per cent, AAP and others are expected to get 5 per cent each.


Rahul Gandhi ahead of Modi in Kerala


Rahul Gandhi is leading the PM race in Kerala. He is ahead of Narendra Modi by a huge 14 per cent. While 21 per cent respondents back Rahul Gandhi for the post of PM, Modi has just 7 per cent support.
AAP impact in Kerala
A total of 67 per cent respondents surveyed have heard of the AAP in Kerala. Among them 22 per cent want the AAP to contest from their Lok Sabha seats. But only 13 per cent are inclined to vote for the AAP.
